The communities within our portfolio share the look and amenities of their market-rate counterparts. We work alongside residents and the greater community to create designs that complement the unique strengths of each site to meet local needs. Additionally, our communities have been made affordable in perpetuity by deed restriction, and maximize the utilization of scarce public resources to secure opportunity zone, new market, and historic tax credits. 

Alongside our consultants, we have looked to HUD regulations for answers to seemingly unsolvable questions. We have found great success in this method. It has proven helpful in utilizing LIHTC financing for sites not conventionally routed through this program and in other scenarios where lesser used programs have been called upon in new and different ways.

The resident services team transforms housing opportunities within our communities through casework, service delivery, and programming. Their efforts bring together neighbors and strengthen the relationships between residents and our staff. Every day they strive to meet the needs of their community and grow program offerings in anticipation of future demand.

Our team includes LEED credentialed professionals with advanced training in the most up-to-date sustainable design, construction, and performance standards. Through the USGBC and IREM, we have been recognized for the efforts made within our portfolio including: co-generation, water capture, conservation systems, green roofs, solar technology, and smoke-free housing initiatives.
